Montague Island Guided lighthouse Tour + Morning Tea With The Seals + Optional Guided Snorkel

Head out through the Batemans Marine Park to Montague Island
look out for Whales (in season) and dolphins riding the bow wake if you go to
the bow of the boat! Then over to Montague Island to visit the fur seal
colonies and enjoy some light refreshments whilst watching these cute 'puppies
of the sea'. Then we head over to the island's jetty. Enjoy a 2,5 hr NPWS guided tour - including a
visit to the lighthouse, the historic buildings, the 3 graves, the quarry and
the regeneration works being done there. Hear the fascinating history and some
incredible tales. Rejoin the boat and head back into port.
Optional snorkel departure will be at 8:00 am
Free Wetsuit and snorkel gear provided
Wetsuits must be picked up from Ocean hut in Narooma at 23 Graham Street Narooma.

Mask fins and snorkel are provided, but if you have your own you are more than welcome to bring it.
Cameras, light spray jacket and wear sensible walking shoes.
Participants need to be able to step from the boat onto a
vertical ladder (normally two or three steps) with minimal assistance to gain
access to the island. The path up to the lighthouse is also quite steep. There
is no refund if you are physically unable to participate in any part of the
tour. All tours are subject to minimum numbers and sea conditions.
At the main "town wharf" in Bluewater Drive
Narooma. 'Dallas" is your boat.
Please arrive 20 minutes before to ensure prompt departure, more time for you
out at the island.
There are two tours just with different departure times 8am
is for snorkel and 8:30 is without snorkel.
